Feeling Grateful
This week I had a whole host of different things to keep my brain entertained.
I got to add to an ongoing ornamental hand poke back piece which I started at Yeovil Tattoo Fest last year.
I did my trade for trade, hair for tattoo, with the lovely lady in the salon downstairs (You all better compliment how amazing my hair is and be amazed that I've now had the same hair colour for over a year) and yes I love a trade for trade so don’t be afraid to ask!
This week also saw my repeat client from Bristol braving the floods to come and get more added to her leg AND repeat offenders from Lyme Regis travelling over to get bestie tattoos. I am so incredibly privileged that you all travel to see little old me.
And I traveled down to Plymouth to see family, where I kind of had a ‘pinch me’ moment when I realised that I was able to now live life to my own timings, within my own availability, and I can care for myself so much better and that’s all thanks to you guys.
I still have my usual struggles of running a business; with admin, taxes, finding creativity, but I can now find time to focus on this fully, and invest in myself and ultimately if I keep myself running well, I will keep my creativity running with it and we all benefit.
Its has been a really satisfying and fulfilling week, and it’s only my second week of being fully self employed. But I feel very set in my routine and have a clear plan moving forward with future flash days, guest spots and offers I want to do over the next few months.
I am so entirely grateful for your continued support. Even just a like, share or a recommendation, it makes the world of difference to me, and to all small businesses, especially in these hard and unprecedented times.
I appreciate you all more than I can ever begin to explain. Thank you for making this possible.
xoxo
